THE SPACE
Step into Casa de Kona Casita’s 1,200-sq-ft main home effortlessly via keyless entry and take in the serene, beach-themed living room. Relax on comfy furniture as the ceiling fan circulates air cooled by air-conditioning (one of the rare homes in the area to offer AC). In the cooler months, enjoy the toasty warmth of the electric fireplace. Watch your favorite shows and sports on the 45” TCL Roku smart TV that streams Hulu with Disney Plus, and ESPN, using your own log-ins.

The open-concept floorplan means you are just steps away from the Casita kitchen, where you can prep and cook your favorite recipes in the fully equipped kitchen with full-size stainless-steel fridge with icemaker, chef-preferred gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, Cuisinart and Keurig coffeemakers, French Press, toaster, waffle iron, blender, hand mixer, InstaPot, rice cooker, electric can opener, and crockpot. Everything you need is here, including full set of ninja pots and pans, pizza pans, cookware, chef’s knives, stock pots, cooking utensils, glassware for wine, as well as kids plastic forks, spoons, bowls, and plates. Enjoy the adorable eat-in area for two to sip your morning beverage as you gaze out onto the backyard oasis or grab a quick snack.

For dining, you have several options, starting with the Casita dining area with seating for six.

You’ll find two venues for dining al fresco – patio table for eight with umbrella by the outdoor kitchen and high-top dining table for six in the great room, an outdoor covered entertainment/living-room area.

OUTSIDE LIVING SPACE:

Discover a delightful world of outdoor living on a beautiful, lush, landscaped property, including two patio areas:
– Great Room, a 500-sq-ft covered, open-air, shaded, space that includes a 55“ TV, patio heater, high-top dining seating, lounge seating around fire table (you’ll love watching sports on TV in this setting), board games, and a kid-size table for coloring;
– 400-sq-ft patio/BBQ area outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, outdoor fridge, and sink, along with dining seating for 8.

This home shares the property with the attached Casa de Kona Hideaway (Vrbo # 2084423), which can also be rented separately or together as the larger Casa de Kona Villa (Vrbo # 2084425). Each unit has its own private spaces. When you rent the Casita, you are renting the main house with two-car garage and driveway parking. The Casita has its own designated private entrance and the private outdoor areas, private outdoor entertainment room, an additional private dining patio area next to the built-in BBQ with your own private grill. Casita does not share any part of the outdoor entertainment room, nor does it share the private dining patio area next to the built-in BBQ.  The large backyard grass area, which sits away from the patio, is the only shared space.  Yard games are shared: Pop-a-Shot, Connect 4.

For additional sleeping needs, you’ll also find a Crate and Barrel king-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

You’ll be 1.5 miles from the most beautiful beaches of South Oceanside and family attractions, including Oceanside Pier, the beach communities of Carlsbad, Oceanside, Legoland, California Surf Museum, Top Gun House

Walk to Primo Market (grab some Primos BBQ ribs or Carne Asada for last-minute snacks and beverages, especially for the kiddos), So. Oceanside Brewing Company taproom (where you’ll find the best beer in all of the South Oceanside area), Best Pizza & Brew (our go-to pizza place), or Vigilante Coffee house for a cup of the newest offerings. Walmart and Stater Bros grocery store are less than 2 miles away.

Zosi Cameras monitor the perimeter of the property for the protection of guests and are mainly monitored when property is not occupied.
